Humsafar Express between Godda-New Delhi via Bhagalpur to be operated from March, CRS inspection soon

Now the people of Silk City will also able to travel in country’s most beautiful train Humsafar Express. Railway Ministry has given the green signal to run Humsafar. The Humsafar Express will run from the newly developed station Godda to New Delhi via Bhagalpur. Passengers will not feel the lack of express train service due to the running of the first Humsafar Express of Malda Railway Division. Humsafar Express will replace Bhagalpur-New Delhi Weekly Super Fast Express.

The Humsafar Express, between Godda-New Delhi, to be operated from the month of March. The work of laying new railway tracks from Hansdiha to Godda has been completed. In February itself, the Chief Safety Commissioner (CRS) will examine the new rail line. After inspection, the train will get the green signal on the new rail line within a week. Godda MP Nishikant Dubey is also the reason behind the Humsafar Express operations.

Humsafar Express stoppage has been given at only 4 stations between Godda-Bhagalpur. The Humsafar Express will stop at Poreyahat, Hansdiha, Barahat and Mandar Hill station. It is expected to run on same timetable, route and stoppage as 12349 between Bhagalpur to New Delhi. 12349 runs via Kiul-Nawadah-Gaya-Sasaram and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya. However, the time table of Humsafar Express has not been released yet.

The Vikramshila Express Special running between Bhagalpur to Anand Vihar Terminal is an important train for East Bihar. This train leaves fully packed daily from Bhagalpur. Farakka Express and Brahmaputra Mail is the daily direct train from Bhagalpur to Delhi. In such a situation, passengers will benefit from operations of Godda Humsafar via Bhagalpur. The work of laying the railway line between Poreyahat to Godda has been completed. CRS inspection will take place in this month. Humsafar Express operations to be started by March. In the upcoming years trains will also run from Godda to Howrah, Ranchi, Patna and many cities. Many trains have got clearance from the Ministry of Railways – Nishikant Dubey, MP Godda
