The Eastern Railway has started preparing to run some more suspended trains. The General Manager has issued instructions to all the officers. Trains to be operated according to the demands of passengers. During this time following the COVID-19 rules will be mandatory.
Railways have announced to run weekly express train between Malda Town to Surat from February 6. In return, the train will run between Surat to Malda Town from February 8. The time table of the train running as a special has also been changed. Along with the running of this train, passengers from Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal will also be able to reach Gujarat.
Along with this train running through Dhanbad, many important trains running from Asansol have also got the green signal. Asansol-Tatanagar, Asansol-Mumbai, Asansol-Gonda, Asansol-Gorakhpur, Asansol-Haldia, Asansol-Digha, Kolkata-Udaipur City, Howrah-Gaya Express and Howrah-Siuri Express will start on different dates in the first week of February.
03425 Malda Town-Surat Weekly Express will run from Malda Town on every Saturday. The 03426/Surat-Malda Town Weekly Express will run on every Monday from Surat. Railways have announced to run these special trains, however ticket booking has not been started yet. Ticket booking for these trains will also start soon. Along with the announcement of running of trains, now the passengers are eyeing the date of ticket booking.
